The Accountant is responsible for providing quality and detailed work while professionally working with field personnel to ensure accurate accounting. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist Marketing, Contract Administration, and Scheduling as needed.
- Prepare monthly sales invoices, verify incoming payables, and assist in net-out process.
- Prepare end of month margin reports and reconcile to general ledger.
- Responsible for balance sheet account monitoring and reconciliation.
- Work with customers on volume and invoicing discrepancies.
- Assist in monitoring accuracy of information in crude systems.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
- 1-4 years general accounting experience is preferred.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Capable of learning other specialized computer programs.
- Operating knowledge of Windows 7.
- Microsoft Office software (Excel and Word) at an intermediate level.
- Excellent organizational/communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to travel up to 60% to Oklahoma City, OK for the first 3 months.
