The Director, Project Safety-Inspection will provide general oversight of field construction activities and work force, focusing on Company policies, procedures, specifications, and appropriate industry standards. This will include interaction with all project management personnel focusing on:
  • Continued Education Related to:
  • Safety Awareness
  • Lessons learned/Near misses
  • Hazard Recognition in the work place
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Standards and Specifications
  • Field Audits

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
    • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • A minimum of 10 years of broad experience in pipeline and facility construction and inspection is preferred.
    • Strong communication skills are required to ensure all project stakeholders and participants are informed and functioning with the goal of meeting and exceeding project execution plans.
    • Experience with inspection procedures, construction practices, pipeline and plant Safety policies/protocol are required.
    • Ability to interface with all levels of management.
    • Work effectively under pressure, to exercise good judgment, and to establish and maintain professional relations with contractors and colleagues.
    • The ability and willingness to travel up to 75% is required.
