The Environmental Air Scientist will work in the EHS&T Environmental group.? Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Qualifications
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:?
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of Environmental Management Information systems such as?IHS Essential Suite (ESS) (or equivalent) or using Environmental Management System developed using EPA guidance on Environmental Management Systems.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and air emission calculations, such as Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Greenhouse Gas regulations is preferred.
Ability to perform combustion emission calculations for engines, turbines, flares and heaters. Also, be able to perform emission estimates from petroleum storage tanks and other emission sources that are operated in the oil and gas industry is required.
Experience with EPA AP 42, Compilation of Air Pollutant Emission Factors.
Knowledge of Greenhouse Gas emission estimate methods.
Familiar with preparation and submission of Emission Inventories to State Agencies.
Knowledge of the gas processing and/or pipeline industry, i.e., engine, heater and turbine operations, as well as Petroleum Storage Tank Operations and Flare Operations.
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills to interface with individuals at all levels within the company structure.
Desire to work in a team environment.
Ability to organize and prioritize daily work, focuses on details, follow policies/procedures, and maintain confidentiality.
Strong technical writing skills and experience writing procedures and training documentation.
Proficient in MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Knowledge of software Essential Suite is preferred.

The Environmental Air Scientist will work in the EHS&T Environmental group.? Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Become proficient in ESS Air Module.
- Configuration of facilities in ESS Air and assist with sustaining facilities for emission inventory and GHG reporting.
- Create procedures related to environmental compliance and EMIS to assist Operations in compliance with applicable regulations.
